Unsulbar News, Majene. Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Peternakan (JSTP) Universitas Sulawesi Barat (Unsulbar) berhasil masuk peringkat tiga akreditasi nasional jurnal ilmiah. Berdasarkan surat keputusan nomor: 204/E/KPT/2022 tentang peringkat akreditasi jurnal ilmiah periode II Tahun 2022, Unsulbar sudah terdapat 8 Jurnal dari berbagai bidang terakreditasi nasional tidak terkecuali JSTP Unsulbar tahun ini dinyatakan terakreditasi peringkat tiga nasional.
JSTP adalah Jurnal ilmiah yang mencakup aspek tentang produksi ternak, fisiologi ternak, nutrisi ternak, sosial ekonomi Peternakan, kesehatan ternak, teknologi hasil ternak dll. Saat ini JSTP juga sudah terindeks Garuda, Copernicus,neliti, road, google scholar, crossref, Base, Dimensions, Worldcat dll. JSTP konsisten menerbitkan Jurnal 2 kali dalam setahun pada bulan Juni dan Desember.
Chief editor JSTP sendiri Dr. Setiawan Putra Syah, S.Pt.M.Si mengatakan dengaan kerja keras selama kurang lebih tiga tahun, JSTP Unsulbar berhasil meraih akreditasi nasional jurnal ilmiah. “Alhamdulillah atas capaian yang telah kami peroleh, perjuangan dan kerja keras kami selama tiga tahun kebelakang sejak tahun 2019 tidak sia-sia. Meskipun belum ada dukungan dari pimpinan fakultas, kami tetap konsisten dan berkomitmen terus melangkah sekuat tenaga sehingga kami bisa sampai pada titik ini” jelasnya.
Lebih jauh menurut Dr Setiawan, pencapaian ini secara istimewa dipersembahkan kepada seluruh tim editor dan reviewers. “Penghargaan setinggi-tingginya kami berikan kepada para tim Editor dan Reviewers yang telah bekerja keras meluangkan banyak waktu dan tenaga menjalankan setiap tahap pengelolaan paper pada jurnal sains dan teknologi peternakan”.
“Kedepannya kami akan berusaha untuk dapat mencapai peringkat akreditasi yang lebih tinggi dengan semakin memperbaiki tata kelola jurnal dan kualitas paper yang kami terbitkan. Tentu saja kami sangat mengharapkan dukungan moril dan materi dari setiap stakeholder dan pimpinan di Unsulbar,” pungkasnya.
