Unsulbar News, Majene. Dalam rangka sosialisasi Program studi (Prodi) S2 (Ilmu dan Teknologi peternakan) dan S3 (Ilmu peternakan), Fakultas Peternakan (FP) Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) sambangi Universitas Sulawesi barat (Unsulbar), Jumat pagi (22/02/2019).
Bertempat di gedung Tasha Center, Sosialisi tersebut dihantarkan oleh Ketua prodi peternakan Prof Rr Sri Rachma A B M Sc Ph D. Ia memberikan informasi kepada dosen dan mahasiswa cara mendaftarkan diri untuk melanjutkan studi, terkhusus di bidang peternakan.
“harapannya agar lebih banyak dosen dan mahasiswa yang lanjut S2 dan S3 di Unhas ,” ujar dosen lulusan Jepang tersebut.
Selain itu, Sri Rachma juga menyinggung soal swasembada pangan yang saat ini sangat penting, terlebih di bidang peternakan. Karena kebutuhan hewani pada manusia yang harus dipenuhi.
“Makanya Kita konsen sekali mendukung swasembada pangan,” ujar dosen yang aktif di bidang PKM (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa) itu.
Dari pantauan Jurnalis Unsulbar News, turut hadir Wakil Rektor (WR) 2 Unsulbar Ir Anwar Sulili, dosen dan staf serta mahasiswa Unsulbar dan beberapa dari Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar (Unasman).
